May 24, 2017 Provo Shopping, Lovelands, and Salt Lake City

May 24th, 2017

Did our Mission shopping today in North Ogden and Provo.  

While in Provo we got to see our friends, Lois and Duane Loveland.
Duane is on hospice, he has memory loss, cancer.  I was so surprised that he was
moving about and doing well.  He seemed to remember us.  It was wonderful to see them.

We drove into Salt Lake City and went by our Apartment Building that we will have our apartment in  beginning June 2nd.  It is just across the street from the Conference Center, so close to all the great church buildings and activities.  I think we will like it there!

May 22, 2017  Began our journey to Utah this morning about 9:30am.

Made it to Boise about 6:00 pm 

Stayed with our friends, Roger and Sharon Bangerter

May 23,  2017

Left Bangerters about 8:45 am and began our journey to Utah.

Twin Falls Temple

Totally forgot there was a temple here so it was a sweet surprise to see this beautiful Temple

Bangerters suggested that we go to Shoshone Falls by Twin Falls and we were glad we did it

was very beautiful.

Had a our lunch at the park there by the Shoshone Falls

Beautiful Day.

I spent most of the two days when we were driving listening to scriptures and finishing the assignments from "Preach My Gospel"  I finally got finished...it was a big accomplishment for me.

March 25, 2017 - May 21, 2017 Mission Call, Mother's Day and Setting Apart as Missionaries

March 25, 2017 Received our Mission Call to Utah Salt Lake City Headquarters Mission for
12  months from May 29th, 2017 to May 24, 2018, we read our letter at Cyndi and Denny's home in San Marcos, California

We were pretty excited about our Mission!  Just what we wanted!

May 14, 2017  both Steven and I spoke in Sacrament Meeting for our mission.   We had a family gathering at Jon and Julie Grossnickles afterwards...I just love my family!
